Frequently Asked Questions

Entries cost £1 and entitles you to a unique number in our weekly draw, each entry has, on average, a 0.37% of winning a prize. Every Friday the lottery is drawn, selecting the winners at random. Winners will be notified by post and will receive their prize via cheque.

Each week we have 22 cash prizes to give away which include 1 x £1000, 1 x £100 and 20 x £10. There is also the chance for a 23rd prize to be won each week which can rollover up to a massive £10,000!

Players can pay by Direct Debit, Card Payment, posting a cheque made out to East Cheshire Hospice Lottery or by giving us a call on 01625 433477.

Winners are published here on our website, in the Macclesfield Express newspaper and on our Lottery Facebook page. 

The income from the lottery pays for an entire day of Hospice care every single week. With your help, we aim to raise that to two. Without the money raised from the lottery, we would struggle to deliver the vital end of life care for our community.

Yes! Players can have anywhere between 1 and 20 numbers. Remember, your chances of winning go up significantly with each extra entry!

Players must be 16 or over in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005, although you can be any age to make a donation!

Unfortunately, our members have to be a resident of Great Britain in order to play. Members who attempt to apply with an overseas address will be disqualified from play.

You can cancel any of your numbers at any time you wish. Please make note that any balance left on the account can only either be played out or treated as a donation.

Everybody has the right to self-exclude from our lotteries and raffles. If you wish to do so, please contact the lottery team.
