Hub Healthcare Assistant




£9.07 - £10.63 per hour

Not all care jobs are the same.

We are looking for kind, dedicated people to help deliver exceptional care to people in our community as part of our Hospice @Home Team.

Hourly rate increased by 10% for Saturdays/ night work and 20% for Sundays/Bank Holidays

We can also offer you:

  • Mileage paid at £0.45 per mile where the pool car is in use
  • Guaranteed core hours for both full time or part time permanent contracts (additional hours available during periods of high demand)

You will need:

  • An interest in providing compassionate, high quality care to people with life limiting illnesses
  • An interest in furthering your training and development
  • An appreciation that every patient, every home, every situation is unique
  • A willingness to become a vital part of a person’s daily routine to help them live with their illness
  • An ability to travel independently throughout the Cheshire East and High Peak areas
  • The ability to work shifts between 7.30am and 9.00pm including weekends and bank holidays

In Patient Unit Staff Nurses

Current Salary Band 5: £23,023 - £29,608 April 2019 Salary Band 5: £24,214 - £30,112

Inpatient Unit Manager


We allow all our Nursing Staff time to care.

Enhancements: 30% night work, 30% Saturday, 60% Sunday


07.30 – 15.30 Early

13.30 – 21.30 Late

21.00 – 08:00 Night

07:30-21:30 Long Day

This post is rotational to nights

Our highly qualified nursing team have time to help and support in a professional, caring and respectful environment.

East Cheshire Hospice is based in Macclesfield and supports patients and families from the High Peak and East Cheshire areas. We take time to see beyond the patient’s condition to the whole person and their family.


  • To be a registered nurse with 1 years’ post registration experience
  • An interest in palliative care
  • A commitment to professional development
  • Experience in a primary care
  • Excellent communication skills
  • To be able to work on a rotational nights/ days basis
