Open gardens in aid of East Cheshire Hospice
“We have always enjoyed opening our garden. It is a pleasant way to meet like minded people, with an interest in gardening. This year, we are looking forward to supporting the Hospice, a much needed and valued facility in our local community.” ~ Bill and Julie
Upcoming open gardens:
-
Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June – Higher Mutlow Farm, Marton
-
Sunday 26th June – 60 Kennedy Avenue, Macclesfield
If you are a green-fingered garden guru, or if gardening is a new hobby courtesy of lockdown, this is your chance to showcase your garden, share your passion with others, and support a local cause!
What you do:
- Choose a date/time that you would like to open your garden.
- Set a fundraising target (if you have a goal).
- Decide a price for your entry fee – We recommend £3-£5.
- Decide if you would like to have any extra activities such as teas and coffees, cake stall, plant sale or a raffle.
- Promote – tell your friends about it. Tell East Cheshire Hospice and we can add your Open Garden details to our website.
- Check your garden is safe – are your steps wobbly, or is there a pond in your garden?
- Download the signage from the gardeners fundraising pack.
What we do:
- Provide a fundraising pack including a guide, collection boxes, collection buckets, bunting, balloons, banners, and posters.
- Send you a digital resources pack including directional and safety signage, an event checklist, and fundraising ideas.
- Support you with any questions or queries you may have.
- Promote your event (if you wish) – your Open Garden event can be added to the events calendar on our website and be promoted on our social media platforms.
If you are interested, please register your details below and we will be in touch soon.
