We are looking for a Physiotherapist wanting to further their experience in palliative and end of life care.

Working closely with the Senior Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist, the successful candidate will undertake comprehensive assessment of patients according to ECH policies and processes and carry out appropriate interventions ensuring treatments are modified in line with patients’ changing needs/abilities. The postholder will also have the opportunity to support and deliver patient focused therapeutic groups held within our newly refurbished Sunflower Living Well Centre.

The Hospice Physiotherapist role represents a development opportunity for a newly qualified Physiotherapist or a new challenge for an experienced Band 5 Physiotherapist.

What you will need:

  • To be a HCPC registered Physiotherapist
  • Experience in Elderly Care / Musculo-Skeletal e.g. Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Neurology
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Palliative Care experience is desirable however full training will be provided
