About our Memory Tree

Our beautiful Memory Tree, located in the Hospice garden, offers a tranquil space to reflect and remember loved ones. With benches and privacy, it’s easily accessible without entering the main building.

The tree features 400 leaves, each inscribed with a short message, providing a meaningful way to celebrate and honour cherished memories while supporting the Hospice.

Marking 35 years of care in our community, the Memory Tree stands as a symbol of gratitude for the ongoing support that enables us to provide compassion and care.

How to dedicate a leaf?

To dedicate a leaf to your loved one, we ask for a donation of £120, which can be made as a one-off payment or as monthly instalments of £10. To pay monthly or yearly please complete the online order form below.

New leaves are added to the tree quarterly. The deadlines for ordering your leaf throughout 2025 are:

Friday 13^th June
Friday 12^th September
Monday 8^th December

Your leaf will remain on the tree for a year, at which point you can choose to either renew its place for another year or we can return the leaf to you for you to treasure at home.

Memory Tree Terms & Conditions

Each leaf is limited to a maximum of 16 characters per line, including spaces.
East Cheshire Hospice reserves the right to approve any message ahead of inscribing and display on the Memory Tree. Messages which may cause offence will not be permitted.
We receive delivery of engraved leaves quarterly. Sign-up deadline dates are available above.
East Cheshire Hospice will contact you when your leaf is on the tree and ready to visit.
The 12-month period will begin when your leaf is installed on the Memory Tree.
You will be contacted 4 weeks before your leaf is due for renewal with the opportunity to renew your leaf.
