PEECH forum

We continue to share our passion for education through our specialist palliative care forum, PEECH (Palliative Education at East Cheshire Hospice). Established in 2012, this forum remains popular with professionals across a wide network who have a keen interest in palliative and end-of-life care and a desire to develop their knowledge and skills.

Previous topics, delivered by hospice specialists, lead nurses, and professionals from partner organisations, have included:

Ovarian cancer and malignant bowel obstruction
Neuro oncology – brain tumour
Interstitial lung disease
Handling a palliative care emergency responsibly and effectively
‘Dying Matters’ and Advance Care Planning
Sexuality and body image in end-of-life care
