Could you open your garden this summer for East Cheshire Hospice?
Each year hundreds of people enjoy a stroll around beautiful gardens or spend time with their family and friends in their garden during the summer in the Cheshire East area, and this year is no exception. Hosting an Open Garden is an enjoyable, and inspiring way to help support East Cheshire Hospice, so we can continue to grow for our future and continue to provide the highest quality of care and support to patients and their families.
How can I get involved?
Open your garden for us
Whether your garden is big or small, wild or manicured, opening it up for a day is a wonderful way to celebrate nature, connect with others and support your local Hospice. There’s no need for perfection, just a welcoming open space where visitors can appreciate their handiwork. Participation is free and you can choose a date that works for you.
️How to fundraise at your Open Garden event:
Why not add more to your Open Garden and include activities to help increase fundraising at your event.
You may wish to ask for donations for:
- Entry to the event
- Food & Refreshments
- Bake sale
- A raffle or tombola
- Scavenger hunt, garden games or nature trail
- Craft activity
- Plant sale
- Handmade goods sale
- Book stall – ask guests to bring unwanted books and sell on for £1
Choose any date for your Open Garden:
We’re getting super organised and looking forward to Open Garden for East Cheshire Hospice 2026, so if you think this year would suit you, we’d be very interested to discuss the possibilities with you.
