About East Cheshire Hospice

A warm welcome

East Cheshire Hospice has been caring for people living with life-limiting illnesses since 1988.

We put our patients, their carers or families at the centre of everything we do, and our expert medical treatment is only the start of the holistic care we provide.

Our Hospice is a warm and welcoming place for everyone, no matter their background or beliefs. We provide compassionate care in a peaceful, supportive environment, where every individual is treated with dignity, kindness and respect.

Our Charitable Purpose

East Cheshire Hospice exists to provide exceptional care and support to people facing life-limiting illnesses, and to those closest to them. As a registered charity, we are committed to delivering free, high-quality palliative care that respects the dignity of every individual.

Only 21% of our funding comes from the government. The remaining £9,362 we need each day is donated by the communities we serve in Buxton, Congleton, High Legh, High Peak, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Poynton, Wilmslow, and everywhere in between.

What can we offer?

We prioritise each patient’s needs and wishes, aiming to improve overall quality of life with practical assistance, emotional and spiritual support. At a time when family is so important, we also support carers and relatives with social and family services, counselling, complementary therapies and much more.
