A Rolex Watch to be won!

A social media star who walked to Ibiza in flip flops is helping East Cheshire Hospice.

Henry Moores, from Bollington, is running a competition on his website for a classic Rolex ladies watch valued at £7,000.

Tickets at 99p are available from winzocomps.com until March 29.

Henry is also sharing details with his 950,000 followers.

The raffle is run in partnership with fundraising group What Women Want with profits donated to the Hospice.

Henry wore out six pairs of flip flops spending 86 days travelling to the Spanish island.

He arrived in style, wearing a suit during an eight-hour crossing in an inflatable towed by a boat.

Henry’s auntie Paula Gibney is a health care assistant for the Hospice @Home team, while late relatives George Layton and Christina Moores were both cared for by the Hospice.

Henry said: “The Hospice relies on fundraising. A lot of people only realise that when someone they know needs its care.

“I’m hoping people will buy tickets with a chance to win a magnificent prize.

“Sitting in a rubber ring to Ibiza for eight hours was horrible. I’d never felt so ill. I was seasick and had salt in my face all the way.”

The steel and gold Rolex was sourced by PR Jones Jewellers which has shops in Macclesfield, Knutsford and Nantwich.

Michael Jones, owner and a Hospice vice president, said: “The What Women Want girls asked if I’d help them out.

“They’ve raised £500,000 in 15 years for the Hospice which is fantastic and I feel very humble to have supported them along the way.”
