The Starlight Walk is heading for a bumper turnout with more than 350 walkers already signed up for the Capesthorne Hall event.
Organisers East Cheshire Hospice say there is still room for more participants to join the fun on Thursday, April 16.
The memory walk gets under way at 7.15 pm with live entertainment starting an hour earlier.
Gates open from 6 pm with food and drink available in the festival village.

Many remember lost loved ones, while others simply enjoy the relaxing woodland and lake location.
Walkers complete the 2.5k course as often as they wish before 9.45 pm when the event draws to a close.
The route has lanterns, fire pits, points of reflection and other features.

Senior Community and Events Fundraiser Claire Gorton said: “We were blessed with beautiful spring sunshine last year and hopefully it’ll be more of the same again.
“We accept registrations until the last minute if there’s space, but the sooner people can let us know the easier it is for us to plan.
“Our Starlight Walk is a vibrant, uplifting experience and we encourage everyone to embrace the festival vibe with lots of glitter and colour.”

The entrance fee only covers the cost of the event, so the Hospice is hoping walkers will raise at least £50 in sponsorship or make a donating when booking.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome and there are no fireworks. The walk is not accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs. * To register visit www.eastcheshirehospice.org.uk/events/starlight-walk-2026/
