Clare has more than 30 years’ experience working with senior teams and boards across multiple sectors, including technology, banking and manufacturing. She is on the board of United Utilities.

She was Chair of the Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and the Northern Powerhouse group of LEPs, where she championed inclusive growth, sustainability and innovation across the north.

Clare also co-founded international leadership consultancies Academee and Cirrus.

Awarded an MBE in 2019 for her work as a global leader and services to the community, Clare served as High Sheriff of Cheshire for a year until April.
