Corporate Challenge

Have you got the business brains to make money grow? If so, you should be taking part in the East Cheshire Hospice Corporate Challenge. The charity will provide a £100 start-up loan and then you do the rest by trying to raise as much as possible from that investment during the whole of May.

All profit made by teams at the end of the month is then donated to the Hospice. The fun challenge is part of the charity's 30th anniversary celebrations and is backed by telecoms provider Chess ICT, based at Alderley Edge.

Kate Wood, Head of Knowledge, Culture and Office at Chess ICT, said: "Chess have been in the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to work for eight years and we believe a big reason we're a great place to work is that we play our part in the wider community.

"Fundraising is great way for your people gain new skills, develop confidence and give something back."

The initiative is also in partnership with Macclesfield College and East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce. Participants will be invited to a celebration event on Wednesday, June 6, hosted by the college.

April Green, Corporate Relationships Manager at the Hospice, said: "Apart from keeping it legal, the only limit is your imagination.

"The celebration evening is also a chance to hear more about how your fundraising will make a difference and what other teams have created. We'll award two winners, an Innovation Champion and a Corporate Challenge."
