Corporate support from Luxury Hub

Estate agents Luxury Hub have launched a campaign to support East Cheshire Hospice.

The property specialists will give 20 per cent of the net profit of sales to the Hospice, if the charity’s name is mentioned.

The Homes That Give Back initiative came from the company’s Investments Manager, George Hammond, who has personal experience of the Hospice.

His late grandfather Michael Markman, a retired businessman, spent a week there as an inpatient 12 years ago.

Close friend Catherine Barron, who died in 2020, was also a patient.

George said: “I’ve had first-hand experience of the Hospice and know what a difference they make at such a critical time for families and friends.

“They make everyone feel comfortable. The patient, most importantly, but also their family. I know how incredibly supportive they are.”

Luxury Hub, which opened its Congleton office almost five months ago, is running a similar incentive with the Air Ambulance and the YMCA, with plans to extend the scheme.

George said: “We’re keen to support charities, so the Hospice was an obvious choice. We all know what impact they have on our community.

“For every transaction initiated from a Hospice referral, we’ll give 20 per cent of the net profit back to them.

“It’s our way of helping. The Hospice provides outstanding care and Luxury Hub are proud to be involved with them.”
