Starlight Walk is back for 2026!

Spring will soon be in the air which means the Starlight Walk is not far away.

Thursday, April 16, is the date of the popular East Cheshire Hospice event at Capesthorne Hall.

Organisers are creating a festival atmosphere with live entertainment, food and drink.

Ready to start the 2025 Starlight Walk.

Gates open at 6 pm with entertainment from 6.15 pm. The walk starts at 7.15 pm and the event ends at 9.45 pm.

Walkers can complete multiple laps of the 2.5k course through scenic woodland if desired.

The route has lighting, lanterns, fire pits, points of reflection and other features, including a floodlit lake.

Community and Events Fundraiser Claire Gorton said: “It’ll be an unforgettable evening as we celebrate the lives of those who mean the most to us.

“Starlight Walk is more than a walk – it’s a vibrant, uplifting experience filled with light, music and togetherness.

“We encourage everyone to embrace the festival vibe – glitter, glow sticks, bright colours, flower crowns … let’s make it a night to remember!

“The entrance fee only covers the cost of the event, so we ask everyone to try to raise at least £50 in sponsorship.

“Every penny raised makes a huge difference helping us to continue to provide care in the local community.

“Alternatively, if walkers would rather not raise sponsorship, they’re able to add an extra donation of £50 when booking a place.”

Well-behaved dogs are welcome and there are no fireworks. The walk is not accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
