Current Vacancies Personalised palliative care at its best CHIEF EXECUTIVE Up to £67,000, dependent on experience Macclesfield, Cheshire At East Cheshire Hospice we care for adults suffering from life-limiting illnesses for which there is no cure. We care for the whole person, aiming to meet all needs, whether they are medical, emotional, spiritual or around the challenges of daily-living. We also support families and carers throughout what is a very difficult period for them. Our mission is to make every day count for our patients and those important to them. Operations in delivering this mission are funded through a mix of public sector grants, legacy donations and fundraising to ensure that a minimum of £3m per annum supports these activities. With significant investment in the transformation of our current facilities and expansion of our out-patient capability, we are now seeking a new and inspirational Chief Executive with proven leadership capability. We enjoy huge local support and are now set to think beyond our organisational boundaries to establish new services that will make a tangible difference to the daily lives of our patients and their carers. Focusing your passion and energy you will provide vision for our ambitious organisation and utilise your experience in leading and managing the significant change new ideas and services will present. Innovative and flexible, you will have outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, raising the public profile of the Hospice within our community and beyond. A motivational leader, you will inspire best performance from our talented, committed staff and volunteers as well as strengthening and broadening relationships with our many supporters. Whilst direct experience in our sector is not essential, a passion for and empathy with our work will be vital. Proven leadership skills and commercial acumen are essential as is the ability to influence and motivate others and build successful relationships both within the Hospice and with our loyal partners and supporters.
