Donate clothing, books or bric a brac

Please drop off your donations of clothes, books and bric a brac at our Macclesfield shop. Our Congleton shop can only accept donations of books, CDs or DVDs. For directions and opening hours click here.

ITEMS WE CAN ACCEPT

Good quality, clean clothing and shoes (including vintage and retro items)
Jewellery, bags and accessories
Books
Music (CDs, vinyl, DVDs, musical instruments and sheet music)
Homeware: china, kitchenware, ornaments, linen, curtains, pictures, collectables
Soft furnishing: small rugs, linen curtains (must be clean and in good condition)
Toys and games
Stamps and coins

ITEMS WE CAN NOT ACCEPT

Electrical goods that run off mains (e.g. hairdryers, radios, microwaves, televisions)
Knives, firearms and fireguards
Protective headwear (e.g. crash helmets, cycle helmets, horse riding helmets)
Children’s car seats, booster seats, prams and pushchairs
Children’s toys without the appropriate CE mark (safety requirement label)
Roller blades, skateboards
White goods (e.g. cookers, washing machines etc)

FROM RAGS TO RICHES

Don’t feel you have to give us your best seconds. You can also help by donating torn, tatty and unwearable clothes and materials. We get paid approx £2 for every black bin bag of rags, which then gets recycled. Just mark “Rags” on the bin bag or let us know when you donate.
