Local Businesses Sponsor The Next 100 Midnight Walkers!!
To help Midnight Walkers get started with raising sponsorship monies, four local companies: Magnus, Spiral Print, Thorneycroft Solicitors and Henshaws have teamed together to encourage registrations. The next 100 people who sign up to the East Cheshire Hospice Midnight Walk which is on the 30th June 2012 will receive £10 worth of sponsorship money to help kick start their fundraising!
Liz Reynolds, Event Manager at East Cheshire Hospice, said “The Midnight Walk is our biggest fundraising event of the year, last year we raised £85,000 from the event, most of which came from our walkers’ sponsorship monies. Our Midnight Walk plays a key role in helping us achieve that all-important £6,000 a day which we need to keep the Hospice running. We would like to thank Magnus, Spiral Print, Thorneycroft Solicitors and Henshaws for supporting this scheme.”
The Midnight Walk is an amazing community event where the people of Macclesfield take to the streets with flashing headwear and fancy dress and walk together to raise vital funds for East Cheshire Hospice. There’s brilliant pre-walk entertainment from local band “Dazed and Confused” and DJs from Canalside Community Radio to get everyone warmed up and ready to go!
To take advantage of this and receive your £10 worth of sponsorship money, please either:
- Enter the promotional code Sunflower12 into the promotional code box when registering online or
- Clearly write Sunflower12 on paper entry forms and send them in to the Hospice; or
- Quote Sunflower12 when entering over the phone on 01625 433477.
This offer is on a first come first served basis and is subject to availability, so register now!
Registration costs £15 per adult and £10 per child (11-17years old) and walkers are encouraged to raise as much in sponsorship monies as possible.
